It Girl: Diane Kruger at Cannes 2012.

Diane was definitely having a moment during the Cannes film festival this past week- from premieres in Valli, to galas in Prabal and Chanel, and press junkets in a very daring (but oh, so perfect) Versus mini-dress- she stole the spotlight at every single event, red carpet or not. Oh, and her perfect accessory during the festival? Her eternally scruffy-cute boyfriend Pacey, I mean, Mr. Joshua Jackson. File as It girl status, well-deserved!

Party Girl: Wedding Edition- Five Fetes.

Now, don't get too excited. I don't have any special announcements to make (sorry, Mom) but considering that it is wedding season (and countless friends of mine will be walking down the aisle come winter) I couldn't help but feature my take on a ridiculously extravagant wedding. Well, actually, there are five fetes below to be exact, (more is more right?) ranging the wedding spectrum from even the most non-conformist of brides (Balmain tux, hello) to a classic look that would be fit for any princess (Vera to the rescue!) File this one as party on.

Insta-Files: Summertime.

Spending entirely too much time making my blog all fancy, super-fresh issues of Vogue, finding old embarrassing pictures (#CrazyCatLady), and swatches for bridesmaid's dresses? You bet yer booty it's summertime. Hope everyone is enjoying this extra long weekend, and instagramming it all for evidence tomorrow. File as until Tuesday.

Top Shots SFW Spring 2012 Part II.

Cotton candy sweetness.

Is that Wang? #TotesWang

Ooooh! Mama need.

Couldn't be any cooler.

One of the cutest versions of a peplum that I've ever laid eyes on.

Pink hair, don't care.

Sunnies with matching hair.

Never met a piece of lucite I didn't love.

Anything with skulls on it is instantly better.

Patches the leopard, over and out.

Insta-Files: Tough Stuff.

My weekend? Filled with mint Gap Body bralettes, creating new blog posts and pouring over the Chanel Resort collection (stay tuned for its fabulousness), hanging out with the best roommate ever (Sir Leo Jones) and of course...having to decide which pair of Jeffrey Campbell wedge sneakers to return to Nasty Gal. Torture. File as happy weekend, loves.

Top Shots Sydney Fashion Week Spring 2012 Part I.

Stripes for life.

Expertly mixed prints if I must say.

Hello, lover.

Turban chic.

It's Natalie Joos! In her always fab mixed and matched prints.

New favorite purse color.

Crop tops are the new calf-length skirt.

Just bare enough.

Ten bucks says they meant to coordinate their outfits.

DYING to get my hands on a pair of overalls.

Matching bag and skirt? Why not?

That Jimmy Choo purse is divine.

Everyone needs a floral blazer.

Best Dressed at the Met Ball 2012.

I must say that my days this week have really been lacking in the glamour department. Just last weekend, I had a feeling that I was right on the edge of a major style slump (this self-imposed "budget" is killing me), when blam (totally just yelled this is my head) The Met Gala hit! (Relive last years by clicking here.

Although my daily work wear doesn't fall anywhere close to what the fab ladies above are wearing, it's definitely given me the push to stop wearing my go-to J Brand jeans every. single. day. But the real debate around the office (not involving my inability to pick a cute outfit this week) has been who was deserving of the best dressed title at this years Met Ball. And you know I had an opinion on that. Keep reading after the jump to see my favorite for this year! File as too much
