Change is Afoot.

Even though I wouldn't describe my current state of being as particularly moody or dramatic (some people in my life may disagree with that statement), something lately has been drawing me over to the darker side of clothing. Is it terrible that my wardrobe is consisting of more and more black pieces and is practically void of any and all color? Some LA-resident I am. File as gravitational pull.

Coachella Crazy.

These past few weeks have been insane to say the least, and I am just about ready to turn in my denim cutoffs and crop tops for something well... a little more substantial. Maybe it's reaching my 1-year mark here in LA (#whoa) or my (sorta) recent trip to NYC, but my heart is kinda pining for some chunky layers and chilly nights. File under can't always get what ya want.

When did things get so complicated and confusing? Ok, I know, loaded question...but seriously replace the word things with getting dressed in the morning and you have my daily struggle to put together a serious outfit that is actually worth wearing. Maybe I've been working these buns too hard or maybe I've just felt like I am in need of some wardrobe revamping, but one thing is certain: I miss the easy days. Insert J.Crew's Fall 2013 collection. Timeless, sophisticated and above all else, totally wearable. When again will I be able to shop this? File as back to the closet.

When I stumbled upon these teddies a few weeks ago, I knew I had to bookmark it for the big V-Day. Clearly, I am spending this year's 14th by myself (do my new Topshop booties count as a date?) but I am none the happier to be cooking myself a very romantic dinner (salmon and brussel sprouts anyone?) and maybe treating myself to my absolute favorite pre-made dessert (creme brulee via Whole Foods, yummmmm). But I digress! Hope everyone enjoys their Valentine's Day, whether you'll be spending it with this kind of teddy, that kind of teddy, or no teddy at all. File as shit, bitch.
