Look Lust: Natasha Goldenberg @ PFW.

Ok, I have been sitting on this post for entirely too long. Can we just sit and contemplate Natasha Goldenberg's PFW Spring/Summer 2013 outfit above. I mean, really, take a moment because this outfit is worth it, periodI'd like to think of it as a chic advanced style Ninja Turtle gone mad, but the one word that it definitely is (in my mind at least) is perfection. I'm thinking this look might be inspiring my studio space, bear with me for this outfit to home decor translation as it might get a little kooky. Stay tuned, kiddies. File away as obsessed.

The Weekenders: Seattle.

Fresh catch of the day | The market aka heaven | The most amazing view from the hotel

Stuffing my face with Tom Douglas doughnuts (from Dahlia Bakery) | Another city view from the hotel

Today I am totally having a case of the Mondays. Yes, I know it's Tuesday (right?) but I just got back from my quick weekend trip to Seattle- complete with a very handsome gentleman, out-of-this-world delicious food, and only a spot of rain to boot. With my trusty traveling pleather pants (his moniker for them), embellished camo jacket (see here) and over-the-knee riding boots in tow I had the chance to explore Pike Place Market, some of the local shops (i.e. Nordstrom) and catch the new 'Seven Psychopaths' at the most adorable hidden theater I think I've ever laid eyes on. Romantic, lovely and totally perfect; I am craving another getaway already. File as smitten.

Celebration Station.

Wonderful, amazing, spectacular news that I officially want to break today to the world (this is my version of shouting it from the rooftops): I've just accepted a new position within Forever 21, finally found an apartment that is the perfect fit, and am spending this weekend in Seattle to celebrate with someone that I maybe, might-be, majorly crushing on. Seriously, what is going on?! I think that my mind is still in shock-mode from getting the surprise of my career the Monday I returned from Montreal and was offered a role that I only ever dreamed of having. (My father believes that I should get a part-time gig to go along with it since according to him blogging and instagramming is "not a real job.") But that doesn't overshadow the roller-coaster ride of apartment hunting for the last oh, 6 months (actual time, 3 weeks) and, the fact that I finally found a place that doesn't make me want to hurl. So, this weekend I'll be celebrating with some old friends, and a few new ones in Seattle, taking a break from all the LA sunshine and enjoying all the perks of my Heavenly Bed. File as somebody pinch me.

P.S. Stay tuned for lots and lots of home decor posts while I decorate my new abode!

On Wednesdays We Wear Pink.

With a handful of the New York shows covered (Victoria Beckham and Marchesa to name a few) I feel as if I am lightyears behind on checking out the newest, latest and greatest. Alas, I finally have a weekend with absolutely no plans (other than apartment hunting and trying to beat the heat wave that is making Los Angeles about the same temperature as a convection oven). But in other news... one trend that I am totally vibing on for next spring is sweet Pepto pink. Seen here at the Christopher Kane Spring 2013 show (and at many more; stay tuned) it's the perfect punchy color to make any dress feel so fresh and so clean, clean. File as spring forward.

Montreal Madness.

Oh, my goodness. What a whirlwind these past few weeks have been. Between the seemingly never-ending search for my next place, hanging with some very dear friends, jetting off to Montreal for the LOULOU Shop 'Till You Drop event, and planning all those outfits (for all the upcoming events too!), I'm not sure how I've managed to keep the balance (Pretty sure Starbucks has played a very large role in keeping me sufficiently caffeinated.) For the past four days I have been romping around Montreal (in lots of chunky tights and flat boots) for the big event and let me just say that it was very, very difficult getting on the plane to leave. I completely fell in love with the city (how can you not?!) and can't wait to plan a return trip. Check out some of the photos I snapped, and stay tuned for lots more posts coming up next week! File as back to reality.
