What can I say about DVF that hasn't been said already? I mean, the woman is fabulous enough in her own right- Belgian born, New York transplant and queen of the CFDA (not her official title but close enough.) How many designers can count Oscar de la Renta and Mr. Valentino as their front row attendees? The woman proved that this season she simply cannot be stopped. I was in love with it all: from the billowing dresses to the all out sequined numbers and the easiness with which she did it all. And I don't even need to mention the exquisite prints. Unbelievable. Unlike some collections, DVF always showcases the most direct approach, making the transition from runway, to the stores, to our closets sweet and simple. File as the ultimate.
