Marc Jacobs Spring 2012.

Set somewhere between a Cabaret stage, 1950s suburbia and a classic hoedown, Marc Jacobs spring 2012 show covered all the bases here. The standouts for me included the barely there silicone dresses and skirts, the layered draped flapper dresses that made me want to go straight back to that time and the sweatshirt material head wraps. And don't even get me started on those blue clutches. Fabulous. Overall I'd say that Marc has clearly established himself as the reining king of New York Fashion Week, one that if according to rumors may be adding another fashion house to his resume quite soon. Is there anything this man can't do? File as overachiever.
