Taking a complete 180 from yesterday, I figured it fitting to showcase one of the most romantic and not to mention gorgeous collections from the fall runways at New York- Marchesa. Never one to disappoint in the drama factor, this time around the duo (
that's Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig) found inspiration in a slightly darker place, which affected their aesthetic in a truly stunning way. Skeleton printed slips, embroidery snaking like backbones down dresses, rich feathers and mounds of lace- I ate it all up, even though I'm not feeling in the most romantic moods this week. Mostly what I loved about it was that these girls are finally showing that their dresses aren't just a bunch of fluff.
