In an ode to the sunshine today, I am mentally sending everyone off on a vacation to the place I'd most like to be right now...that's right, the beach. Any beach would do with this heat, but there is one in particular that I've been dying to visit ever since I moved to the Bay Area. To the lucky West coasters who call Hawaii their go-to vacation spot, I envy you. Growing up in Texas, Hawaii was completely out of the question; instead my family spent vacations in and around Mexico rather than the far island in the Pacific.
