Current Obsessions: Black Tie.
What's wrong for wanting a little glam factor every day of the week? Well, I've been definitely smitten with the black-tie mood of the above snaps. Whether it's a Tom Ford tuxedo (does clothing really get any better than that for a man?) wearing the chicest black shorts like a pro or sipping on copious amounts of bubbly (Vueve of course) there is nothing wrong with upping the glam factor, if just a little bit. File as bubble time.

---Manday Monday: Pitti Uomo Part I---
Another Manday Monday this week? Sign me up. My Monday isn't beginning exactly as I had hoped considering the plague is slowly taking over my body (and by plague I mean the common cold) but I'm doing my best to convince my body it's not sick... We'll see if my mind is as strong as I'd like to think it is. But while I am still unable to breathe out my nose, I am happy to share the cute boys above, making this Manday Monday just a little bit brighter. File as happy Manday.

-Manday Monday: Menswear Spring 2013-

Hmmm...How is your Manday Monday going? After ogling the boys above (shameless flirt), I have to admit that mine is going oh, so much better now. I'm not sure if I could pick my favorite man, I mean look, but I do have a soft spot for a Chuck Bass skinny suit just as much as I do a good neck tattoo. File as happy Manday Monday kiddies.

ApartmentPhile: My Next Place Option I.
Even though I may not have a place of my own just quite yet (fingers crossed that I can afford something in the next few months)...a girl can dream! And I am definitely one who loves apartments and all their quirks- hence the new ApartmentPhile post label. So over the next few weeks, I wanted to share some of the apartment design styles that I've been throwing around (virtually of course) one of which will make it into my next tiny-ass apartment. The style featured below may be equal bits rustic, glam, chic and industrial but it makes a very big statement with just a simple color palette. File as hard chic, option one.

No. 21 Fall 2012.
Since I've been neglecting my blog this past week, I wanted to start the weekend off right! No. 21 for fall is just what I needed after my very busy week at work. Now, time to have a little fun and maybe throw a little jewel in my hair for good measure. File as happy Friday!

Top Shots: MFW Fall 2012 Part I.
Knew this would happen- ADR in the ultimate Balenciaga visor from spring.
I spy with my little eye, Ms. Natalie Joos!

3D floral madness.
Newfound obsession with geometric prints. Does this come in a rug version?
ADR in Raf Simons for Jil Sander's last spring collection for the house! In mourning.
Reminds me of children's pajamas...in the best way possible.
Stiff competition between flats vs. heels.
Hyperventilating over how fab this Prada coat is.
Gumby never looked so good.
All smiles with Chanel!
How to elongate your legs 101.
Models get hot too ya know.
Leather jacket dres?! NEED.
Puppies are always the best accessories. That and Miu Miu pumps.
It's like tribal with a twist of floral and sexy, but opulent.
The Isabel Marant It sneakers for the season in action!

Antonio Berardi Fall 2012.
Lisbeth Salander it seems, has been all over the fall runways in New York, Milan, Paris and as you can see here, London. Her influence is widespread- from the cropped haircuts at Calvin Klein Collection to the dark subversiveness that seems to be in many of the collections put forth so far (Versace being one in particular that stood out)- but that isn't to say that the actress herself or (the not-as-good as the Swedish version) movie are either solely responsible for all this moodiness. After a spring full of sweet and funky florals, uber-pastels and ladylike charm it was only a matter of time until things got well...a little darker. Antonio Berardi showcased his Lisbeth for fall and even though she was a bit more glamorous, she still had something desirable hiding in all those heavy folds. File as strength.

It G uy: Milan Vukmirovic.
All right, so I know I promised you tons (and tons) of posts this weekend about LFW, but hey, I was coming off my first week of my first corporate job and let's just say getting out of bed the past few days was more difficult than I would have imagined. But I'm back to my regular self now, perhaps a bit less sleepy and a little more energized so I wanted to start the week off with something I don't normally do....that would be focus on the guys for a change (ha.) So this week (as per request from a lovely and very stylish coworker) I decided on an It Guy because who says boys can't have just as much fun as girls with their looks. Rarely photographed from the waist down (I mean, just look at that face) or standing still for that matter, Mr. Milan Vukmirovic could be accurately described as a jack of all trades. Co-founder and buyer at Colette (aka Parisian fashion Mecca,) design director for Gucci under the Tom Ford, former creative director at Jil Sander, chief editor (and photographer and stylist) at L'Officiel Hommes, current creative director at Trussardi 1911- the list of jobs this man has successfully had goes on and on. But what I love about him most is his boldness to rock a joutfit (that's jean-outfit to those who don't know) like it's no one's business and still look entirely too sexy, making him the official It Guy for the week! File as working it.

Proenza Schouler Fall 2012.
If there is one collection that fits perfectly with my mood today it would have to be that of Proenza Schouler. For their fall runway presentation, it was all about protection (the martial arts inspired shapes), contemplating their beginnings (those bird embellishments referenced their first breakout collection) and experimenting in new territory (brocades are a first for them.) Having just sealed my status as a newly single lady, I can't imagine any other fall collection in its entirety at NYFW that would make me feel more fierce to put on in the morning than Proenza. File as obsessed.

Manday Monday.
It's all the boys at Pitti Uomo again! LOVE that scarf.
Talk about a power couple here- that light blue jacket is divine.
Just a touch of color for these two. Always fab.
One word- delicious.
Coordinating your files with you outfit? DUH.
Probably my favorite picture of the bunch...soft but still masculine.
Would love to borrow that bag.
The combination of colors here is just exquisite.
Quite possibly my ideal match- fur, navy, canvas bag and totally chic.
Hermes orange jeans! Where do I sign up for these babies?!
Until next time!
