That's What He Said.

Exactly what I was thinking when I started this blog.
Thanks to this Greek philosopher for being so much more eloquent than I ever could be.

-----Roberto Cavalli Resort 2013-----

There may not have been a leopard print in sight, but Roberto Cavalli's resort 2013 presentation was definitely not lacking in the fierce factor. Who knew that florals could look so edgy with lace details, pleated accents and collars up to there? Leave it up to the master of boho edginess to take the Cavalli girl to the next level of sophistication. File as game changer.

Top Shots: Paris Fashion Week Fall 2012 Part I.

Tilda in Haider Ackermann...girlfriend knows what works for her.

Color, color everywhere, not a drop to spare!

What's black and white and orange all over? Balenciaga!

Yeti chic is so hot for fall.

Ninja Turtle inspired to the max.

Everything is nicer through rose-colored glasses!

Oh. My. God. Look at her fur.

The chill is so much more bearable with Prabal Gurung glasses.

Skeletor!

ADR in Fendi...naturally

Quite possibly my favorite boots of the season.

Accessory perfection.

Blow away...but looking damn good.

Coachella 2012 Week I.

I may have agreed with that statement that every girl at Coachella looks like Pocahontas went to burning man at one point, but that is in the past! At the desert fest this year the ladies took it to a whole other level. Okay, so there were plenty of "vintage" Levi distressed shorts and crochet dresses, but there were a defining few who were dressed a cut above the rest (pun completely intended.) Case in point Dree Hemingway in those totally trashy chic (is that even allowed to be in the same sentence?!) knee-highs or the plethora of Isabel Marant Willow slash Bekket slash Perkins slash whatever the eff they're called now sneakers spotted on every It Girl's feet. And you know this wouldn't be a Coachella post without a mention of Miss Kate Bosworth (the queen of music festival style) rocking some seriously high hemlines. File as so much more chic.

Fendi Fall 2012.

Although I may be feeling less than warrior-like this week (already being beaten down by a whole lot of work) Fendi's fall collection is just the thing to bring me right back up. Filled with avatar-inspired looks (or should we say that Hunger Games-inspired now?) and fur aplenty, being tough never looked so chic. File as fight on.

Jil Sander Fall 2012.

Definitely a moment worth remembering during the fall presentations. Raf Simons final (and rather emotionally charged) collection for Jil Sander could not have been summed up any better than Mr. Tim Blanks in the quote above. File as to be missed.

Roberto Cavalli Fall 2012.

Leopards and tigers and snakes, oh my. Roberto Cavalli's fall runway was a veritible breeding ground of species, and just like the tiger print rug on the floor (made out of tens of thousands of flowers) his collection was all about the inherent mysterious qualities of the wild. Pailettes that looked like fish scales were actually made of leather. Tiger and zebra stripes on pants were created with sequins. Minks became crocodiles; crocodiles became snakeskin and brocades were made with fur. In the end, it was all about the beauty of nature...and nature never looked so good. File as into the wild.

J. Mendel Fall 2012.

Another J for the past few days, J. Mendel's fall collection fell right between pretty and chic, fantastic and dreamy. But it was the etherial gray strapless dress that had me swooning the most (#megachic) along with those fur pieces (gorg) that would cause un uproar with PETA. Although Rooney Mara may have already been spotted on the red carpet in the plum flared mini, there's always the rest of the collection to look forward to come fall. File as beautiful

Top Shots NYFW Fall 2012 Part I.

#ToatsWang

Backstage Ralph Lauren gorgeousness.

It Girl Caroline Sieber, only you could pull off Yeti chic.

Simply stunning color combinations here.

What a cutie!

It Girl Miroslava Duma rocking Proenza from a few seasons back. LOVE.

White and red never looked so fab.

Another monochromatic look...perfection.

Even this pup has a fierce street style pose.

...Almost as fierce as a rather grown up looking Tavi Gevinson.

Smokey eyes at Marc Jacobs.

Could definitely use some pink pants like these.

Matchy, matchy ladies.

It's so fluffy!

Zac Posen, pre-show.
