Emilio Pucci Spring 2012.

Even though Gwyneth Paltrow caused quite the sartorial commotion at the Emmy's in an ab-baring Emilio Pucci frock (worn pre-runway I might add), it definitely gave fashion insiders a taste of what was to follow on the runway mere days later. Criticisms on fit aside for Mrs. Paltrow, Peter Dundas has made one thing very clear for the past few seasons- it is that the new Pucci girl is all about being ultra, ultra sexy. His designs may not be for the modest woman or even the general public at that, and this time around he sent the sultriest gypsies I've ever seen down the runway decked out in classic Pucci prints leaving very little to the imagination. The whole presentation made me want to go back to Southern Italy all over again and just live the life. File under so sexy.

Salzburg me away.

As a lover of classical music and all things sparkly, I have to admit that I have been anticipating a chance to share a travel post on Austria- the home of Mozart, Swarovski headquarters, picturesque Alpine slopes and a bustling modern art scene to boot. The lovely city of Salzburg is just the place to experience all of the above (with a slight detour for the sparkly part, see below); and with the slight chill in the air today in the Bay, I can't help but imagine myself in a much more romantic place (call me crazy but homeless people outside my door just doesn't do it for me.) Check out the complete fabulous itinerary after the jump along with the perfect outfit for exploring. File under dreaming on.

Best Dressed Cannes Film Festival.

The Cannes Film Festival continues to be one of the most over-the-top, all out glamorous film festivals in the world. I mean, how often do you wear your biggest ball gown to go see a movie? And what I love about the whole event, not only the great new movies that come out of it, but also the fresh fashion that struts down all the red carpets that week. From a feathery fun Pucci frock to showcase Anja Rubik's perfect limbs to Janet Jackson's curve hugging Ackermann confection or the strategic cutouts of Giovanna Battaglia's barely-there dress these eight ladies know exactly how to show off their best assets. Check out what each of these eight wore, after the jump, as well as one honorable mention! File under gorgeous.

Top Shots MFW Fall 2011 Part I.

I love the play of textures and how the models held their bags at Prada.

Giovanna Battaglia, the ultimate Italian woman.

Rainbow bright explosion. Obsessed.

Watch out for the Mercedes bus, this is Milan after all.

I love fashion that makes you smile, and this Pucci dress does just that.

New color combination to test out.

Could this little Chloe bag be any cuter?

One way to keep warm.

This was a deceivingly difficult post for me to compile from my files because quite frankly there was an exorbitant amount of beautiful and inspiring photographs to choose from. So in an effort to show almost everything I loved, this post will be split into two parts. One thing that I will say for sure about the photos I finally settled on is that the Italians know how to effortlessly and fearlessly use bold colors; mi piace molto.
