Recap: FNO at Beverly Center.

As I'm sure you all know, FNO this year was totes maj. From the freebies, to the GWPs, the mocktails and the cocktails there was fun to be had by all. Bloggers, celebs, models and more were out and about at Beverly Center and beyond to celebrate the ultimate shopping night and lucky for me, only one party-goer had the same F21 Exclusive Collection black and white chevron dress on as me (well, not technically a party-goer, but rather one of the gals walking in the exclusive Forever 21 fashion show). Although I was expecting some kind of catastrophic disaster that night (i.e. DJ playing Tyga's "Make it Nasty", photo booth falling over and crushing infants, models heads exploding, etc.) the event went on without a single hitch. Not only that, but I was so thrilled to see all the familiar faces out to support (#GoTeamForever). So with the bosses happy and wallet still full of money (couldn't even take a break to shop that night) I promise not the utter those three little letters for the next few months...seriously. File as let fashion week begin.

It's a Celebration.

It's here; it's here!! No, not the amazingly adorable Chloe shoes above (from 2009 mind you) but rather the day I graduate from being an intern! Although I've only spent six months as an intern with Forever 21, there has been no shortage of events, promotions, drama-rama and fabulousness to be had. So with this long weekend, right before the big bonanza that is known as FNO, I am excited to kick back (or kick these feet up), celebrate the last six months and take some time to rethink the road ahead. And you know it will be filled with some pretty cute shoes, to boot. File as happy feet.

Birthday Wishes.

So excited to have another friend's birthday this weekend! If only I could afford the plane ticket to spend it with both of them. I'm sensing a weekend getaway to NYC next year with both of them, hint hint... But regardless, I want to wish a very special day to Alison at Alison Reid Style, who is not only my favorite gal pal (and one that I know will always let me crash on her couch), but also the person who single handedly inspired me to create this blog! Without her support, I never would have done it. So I want to thank her, not only for being someone that I look up to for the best advice ever, but also being strong, beautiful, kind and of course very successful at whatever she puts her mind to! I hope you have a gorgeous Sunday, lady and of course an amazing year (enjoy it all!) File as cheers.

Birthday Wishes.

To my dear friend Emily (who is just one of my beautiful friends who has a birthday this weekend) who is probably the single reason why I had entirely too much fun the last six months I was living in Berkeley, and who made even the most boring of Monday nights fab! Although I couldn't bake a cake for her today (since I'm in LA now, duh) this virtual one will have to suffice. Today is for you Emily, you are the most intelligent, gorgeous and hilarious chick I know...and you happen to make a mean al dente pasta dinner, without even using a timer. Happy birthday, love! File as enjoy.

Party Girl: This is Lady's Night.

Even though I have a feeling my Saturday night will be much more mellow than most, I couldn't help but put together this fabulous fete that would be just the thing if I were back in the Bay Area with all my girlfriends. You can't go wrong with champagne toasts, lots of hot pink, glitter frosting (really) and your favorite friends. Hope you all enjoy your Saturday, whomever it is you will be spending it with! File as celebrate.

Party like its 1776.

July 4th may be a time when Americans celebrate by shooting off tons of fireworks and eating mass amounts of burgers, and for most of my friends this day won't be much different than that. Regardless of how you'll be celebrating today, I hope that everyone has a chance to get together with great friends or family, argue about politics and enjoy some things that are quintessentially American. Keep reading after the jump to see the whole party breakdown, and file this one under celebrate.

Stars and Stripes.

Happy 4th of July everyone! Stay tuned later today for my take on a fabulous 4th party, as well as the perfect outfit to celebrate America's independence in. Hope everyone has a fantastic day filled with lots of fireworks!

For my Dad.

Clearly not my dad, but too cute to resist!

If I had to choose, I think I would probably consider myself a daddy's girl (sorry mom, love you too) probably because more than anyone else in my life, I've always wanted to make him proud. I know it sounds totally cheesy, but I have to admit that it is completely true. Without his guidance I never would have imagined how great my dreams could actually be...and how many of them could actually come true! Not only is he my greatest role model, but he is also one of my best friends. So here is to you Dad, for all the sacrifices you've made for me, the late nights watching bad TV when I'm at home, being my number one fan, always challenging me to be my best self and inspiring me to dream big. File under love you.

Party Girl: Ladies Night.

If there is one label that I have alway detested it would be that of party girl. I consider myself to be one, but definitely not in the negative context that most people associate with those words. I love a good party- lush flowers, party dresses, whimsical decor, delicious food, and a dramatic table setting are all at parties that I adore. I mean, sometimes there is nothing better than sitting around the television with some beer, take-out pizza and good company; but why not go all out every once in a while? So with this brand new series Party Girl, I'd like to share with you the kind of party girl that I am. Check out all this party's details after the jump and click on the picture for a much larger one. Oh and please, no keg-stands. File under celebrate.
