Lanvin Fall 2012.

For this Friday, I found no better runway show to feature than Lanvin's fall 2012 romp. And let me tell you, this was one collection to remember. Celebrating ten fabulous years, Alber Elbaz for Lanvin threw the party of all parties at his fall presentation. Guests rocked to a live band, ate a cake that if toppled, would have taken out more than a few of them, and lusted over some clothing that went from strong and bright to party perfect and back to all his classic embellishments. The fantasy he has spun for Lanvin for the past ten years has definitely been a defining moment in fashion, and going forward, it's anyone's guess where he'll take us next. File as party time.

Top Shots: MFW Fall 2012 Part I.

Knew this would happen- ADR in the ultimate Balenciaga visor from spring.

I spy with my little eye, Ms. Natalie Joos!

3D floral madness.

Newfound obsession with geometric prints. Does this come in a rug version?

ADR in Raf Simons for Jil Sander's last spring collection for the house! In mourning.

Reminds me of children's pajamas...in the best way possible.

Stiff competition between flats vs. heels.

Hyperventilating over how fab this Prada coat is.

Gumby never looked so good.

All smiles with Chanel!
How to elongate your legs 101.

Models get hot too ya know.

Leather jacket dres?! NEED.

Puppies are always the best accessories. That and Miu Miu pumps.

It's like tribal with a twist of floral and sexy, but opulent.

The Isabel Marant It sneakers for the season in action!

Proenza Schouler Fall 2012.

If there is one collection that fits perfectly with my mood today it would have to be that of Proenza Schouler. For their fall runway presentation, it was all about protection (the martial arts inspired shapes), contemplating their beginnings (those bird embellishments referenced their first breakout collection) and experimenting in new territory (brocades are a first for them.) Having just sealed my status as a newly single lady, I can't imagine any other fall collection in its entirety at NYFW that would make me feel more fierce to put on in the morning than Proenza. File as obsessed.
