Oh, how joyous it is that summer is here! Berkeley is burning up (anything above 75 degrees is just intolerable here considering air-conditioning is few and far between) but thank goodness I was able to find refuge today in a cool theater for an after-school matinee showing of Bill Cunningham New York, the fabulous documentary about the original street style photographer. If you can, I strongly recommend you go see it. Even though Cunningham is totally New York, the summer heat here on the west coast has brought the best of Berkeley style out- adorable, flirty and bright floral dresses. I'm thinking I'll have to dust some of mine off, in an attempt to beat the summer heat. Check out the floral accessory that I am coveting right now after the jump...which would be a perfect addition to any closet. File under garden party.

Hello Margaret:
ReplyDeleteYou show here some very attractive and prettily coloured prints for summer.
It is hot with us too with daily temperatures of 30C+. By July/August it can reach 40C. And air conditioning is not, as you may imagine, widespread in Hungary.
Hi Jane and Lance! Glad to know that I'm not the only one melting in all this sunshine! Hooray for summertime!
