Vera Wang's latest collection may have contained a whole lot of white in it
and her name may be synonymous with brides across America (
especially after that Kardashian wedding bonanza) but her spring collection was as far removed from any collections she's produced in the recent past. What's to blame? Could it be the need to distance herself from her newfound audience, the comfortability of having a burgeoning business or just a shift in the creative tides? This Alice and Wonderland mixture of cute-as-a-button pastels, psychedelic prints and sheer layers all together may not be totally wearable straight off the runway to the audience she's most recently attracted (
and the celebrities she sat front row center) but one thing is sure: Vera will always keep us guessing. For me, it was the best spring palette so far. File under inspiring.
