Can you see me now?

All my life I’ve had a love/hate relationship with the print we like to call camouflage. Growing up in Texas around hunters made me despise the association it had with killing animals for sport. The only time I ever encountered the print was on awful trucker hats and full onesies better reserved for the forest. But now that I’ve gained enough distance from the range, I have to admit that camo is slowly becoming less and less invisible to me. I mean, pair it with an Hermes bag, a Prada pump or a pleated skirt and it somehow changes to something more masculine, a little bit country but totally cool. But to be truly on trend, there is only one place to buy camo. I’ll be heading to my closest army supply store within the week to stock up. File under stand out. Also check out after the jump a hilarious picture behind the top picture that is sure to make you chuckle.

That's right, that woman being photographed in the top picture is none other than Garance Dore.
I love The Sartorialist for taking this picture of all the fashion photographers freaking out
over her fabulous Prada pumps.
