Displaying textiles as art is something that I grew up around thanks to my mother's obsession with beautiful fabrics and well-made clothing. Now, living in the Bay Area near one of the most prolific fabric stores in the whole world Britex Fabrics, I find myself browsing the tightly packed aisles for fabrics that look like pieces of art themselves. These by the French artist Paule Marrot would be perfectly framed to soften the look of any room. They almost make me want to wrap one around my head and head off on a road trip. File as lovely.
