Destination: USA.

Putting the brakes on these outlandish (albeit insanely awesome vacations) I felt it only necessary to feature one that is maybe just a tiny bit more tangible. And what is more American than a road trip full of barbeque pit stops, a drive through the redwoods and classic rock playing on the radio? Think more Thelma and Louise and less Clark Griswald. Check out after the jump for some destination tips and the ultimate outfit. File under drive safe.

  • What to Pack: leggings, puffy down filled coat (doubles as a pillow), granola bars, sunglasses, extra water, roadtrip bingo boards and anything plaid
  • Tunes to Crank: All-American baby
  • Sights to See: Redwood Forest, OMSI and Powell Books in Portland, Music Museum and 1st Nordstrom in Seattle

The Ultimate Outfit
Jacket: J.Crew fleece-lined plaid jacket
Top: Proenza Schouler tee
Pants: Zadig & Voltaire Ava deluxe skinny leather pant
Necklace: Dannijo Tova silver-plated Swarovski crystal necklace
Shoes: See by Chloe Derby lace-up boots
